Isohexane

 

Isohexane provides high accuracy thermodynamic properties for isohexane (2-methyl pentane, C6H14, MW 86.175 g/gmole, CAS No. 107-83-5) using the Fundamental Equation of State presented in:

The correlation is valid for temperatures in the range between triple point at 119.6 K to 550 K for pressures less than 1000 MPa.  

 

Enthalpy and entropy values are referenced to 200 kJ/kg and 1 kJ/kg-K respectively for saturated liquid at 273.15 K.
