R115

R115 provides thermodynamic and transport property information for refrigerant R115 (C2ClF5, chloropentafluoroethane, CAS#76-15-3).  The thermodynamic properties are determined from the equation of state in:

Lemmon, E.W, and Span, R. "Thermodynamic Properties of R.227ea, R.365mfc, R.115, and R-13I1",

J. Chem. Eng. Data 2015, 60, 3745-3758

The correlation is valid for temperatures in the range between 173.75 K to 550 K for pressures less than 60 MPa.

Enthalpy and entropy values are referenced to 200 kJ/kg and 1 kJ/kg-K, respectively,  for saturated liquid at 0 C.

Transport properties are provided using correlations given in:

Yaws, Carl L., ed. Chemical Properties Handbook. New York: McGraw-Hill, 1999.

Surface tension data are provided using the information in:

Mulero, A., Cachadina, I, and Parra, M.

"Recommended Correlations for the Surface Tension of Common Fluids"

J.Phys. Chem Ref. Data, Vol. 41, No.4, 2012.
