R441A
R441A (also known as HCR 188C) is a mixture consisting of 3.1 weight% ethane, 54.8% propane, 6% isobutance and 36.1% n-butane. It is an A3 refrigerant (not toxic, flammable). It has a molar mass of 48.305 kg/kmol with GWP and ODP of 0. It is considered to be a replacement for R134a and R22.
Property data for R441A are provided using a Helmholtz mixture model fitted by F-Chart Software using thermodynamic property data generated by REFPROP. The model is applicable for temperatures between 200 K and 600 K with pressures up to 20 MPa. The reference state is saturated liquid at 0 C for which specific enthalpy and entropy are 200 kJ/kg and 1.0 kJ/kg-K, respectively.
