Procedure Compact_HX_ND('ff_tubes_s968-087', Re: f,j_H) is a non-dimensional procedure that returns the friction factor and the Colburn j factor for external flow through finned flat tubes with surface 9.68-0.87 given the Reynolds number. The values calculated are based on a best fit curve to experimental data. These data are from Kays and London (1984) p. 271.
