Provides a plot showing the flow regime map for a horizontal two phase flow based on the work by Govier and Aziz (1972) for flow of air and water in a 2.6 cm tube.
Information regarding the axes follows.
y-axis:
j_G = G*x/rho_G = superficial gas velocity
x-axis:
j_L = G*(1-x)/rho_L = superficial liquid velocity
where
G = total mass flux (m_dot/A)
x = quality
rho_G and rho_L are the densities of vapor and liquid, respectively
