Impinging_Jets_SSN_ND
Procedure Impinging_Jets_SSN_ND(Re, Pr, r\D, H\D : Nusselt) calculates the average Nusselt number for a single slot nozzle (SRS) jet with slot width B positioned perpendicular to a plate with its exit a distance H from the plate. The heat transfer coefficient is averaged over an area of the plate with distance x from the center of the nozzle.
Inputs
Re - Reynolds number with characteric length equal to the diameter of the nozzle.
Pr - Prandtl number
x\S - the ratio of the radius of the surface area on the plate to S where S=2B
H\S - the ratio of H to S.
Outputs
Nusselt - average Nusselt number [-]
Notes:
The correlation used in this procedure is applicable for the following conditions:
2 < H/S < 10
2 < x/S > 25
3000 < Re < 90000
