Right triangles that are perpendicular and share a common base.  Triangle 1 has half the base length as triangle 2

Function f3d_42(W,L,D) returns the view factor between two perpendicular right triangles that share a common base.  The base of triangle 1 is half that of triangle two.

Inputs:
W = height of triangle 2 [m] or [ft]
L = twice the height of triangle 1 [m] or [ft]
D = length of base of triangle 2 (twice the base of triangle 1) [m] or [ft]

Example:
$UnitSystem SI Pa J K m
D=0.1 [m]
L=0.05 [m]
W=0.2 [m]
F=f3d_42(W,L,D)

{Solution:
F=0.4312}
