Plate with shoulder fillets under tension



Function SCF_6 returns the stress concentration factor for a plate with shouldered fillets on both sides. The plate is subject to axial tension along its length.
 
Inputs:
H - the width of the plate  ([m] or [ft])
t - the depth of the shoulder  ([m] or [ft])
r - the radius of the fillet  ([m] or [ft])

Example:  
$Load Mechanical Design
$UnitSystem SI K Pa 
D=0.4 [m]
t=0.075 [m]
r=0.0725[m]
SCF=scf_6(D,t,r)

{Solution:
SCF=1.718
}
