Plate with shoulder fillets under bending



Function SCF_7 returns the stress concentration factor for a plate with shouldered fillets on both sides. The plate is subject to bending moments in the plane of the plate.
 
Inputs:
H - the width of the plate  ([m] or [ft])
t - the depth of the shoulder  ([m] or [ft])
r - the radius of the fillet  ([m] or [ft])

Example: 
$Load Mechanical Design
$UnitSystem SI K Pa 
H=0.24 [m]
t=0.025 [m]
r=0.075[m]
SCF=scf_7(H,t,r)

SCF=1.318
}
