K_GateValve



The K_GateValve(RelRough, fo)  function returns the resistance coefficient for a fully-open or partially open non-tapered gate valve as a function of the relative roughness of the piping and the fractional opening (fo), defined as the minimum flow area to the maximum flow area in the valve.  

Example:

RelRough=0.001
fo=0.5
K=k_gatevalve(RelRough, fo)
