R143m
R143m provides approximate thermodynamic property data for HFE-143m (tri-fluoromethyl methyl ether, MW 100.04 g/gmole). The thermodynamic properties are obtained using the fundamental equation of state provided by:
Akasaka, Ryo and Kayukawa, Yohei, "A fundamental equation of state for trifluoromethyl methyl ether (HFE-143m) and its application to refrigeration cycle analysis", International Journal of Refrigeration, Vol. 35, pp. 1003-1013, (2012)
The properties are valid for temperatures between 240 K and 430 K for pressures up to 7.2 MPa.
Viscosity and thermal conductivity have been estimated using a corresponding states approach as suggested in:
Klein, S.A., McLinden, M.O., and Laesecke , A., "An improved extended corresponding states method for estimation of viscosity of pure refrigerants and mixtures'
Int. J. of Refrigeration, 20, pp. 208-217, 1997
McLinden et al., "An extended corresponding states model for the thermal conductivity of refrigerants and refrigerant mixtures",
Int. J. of Refrigeration, 23, pp. 43-63, 2000
R134a was used as the reference fluid. The estimated transport properties should be applicable for the range in which the equation of state is valid.
