trans-2-butene
trans-2-butene provides high accuracy thermodynamic properties for trans-2-butene (C4H8, MW 56.106 g/gmole, CAS No.624-64-6) using the Fundamental Equation of State presented in:
Lemmon, E.W. and Ihmels, E.C.,
"Thermodynamic Properties of the Butenes. Part II. Short Fundamental Equations of State,"
Fluid Phase Equilibria, 228-229, pp.173-187, 2005.
The correlation is valid for temperatures in the range between triple point at 167.6 K to 525 K for pressures less than 50 MPa.
Enthalpy and entropy values are referenced to zero for saturated liquid at the normal boiling point of 274 K.
Transport properties are provided using correlations given in:
Yaws, Carl L., ed. Chemical Properties Handbook. New York: McGraw-Hill, 1999.
