R13I1
R13I1 provides thermodynamic property information for refrigerant R13I1 (CF3I, trifluoroiodomethane, CAS#2314-97-8). The thermodynamic properties are determined from the equation of state in:
Lemmon, E.W, and Span, R. "Thermodynamic Properties of R.227ea, R.365mfc, R.115, and R-13I1",
J. Chem. Eng. Data 2015, 60, 3745-3758
The correlation is valid for temperatures in the range between 120 to 420 K for pressures less than 50 MPa.
Enthalpy and entropy values are referenced to 200 kJ/kg and 1 kJ/kg-K, respectively, for saturated liquid at 0 C.
Transport Data
The viscosity of liquid and the thermal conductivity of the gas are obtained from:
Yoanyuan, D., Lin, S, Mingshan, Z, and Lizhong, H.,
Thermophysical Properties of a New Environment Friendly ALternative - Trifluoroiodomethane
J. of Thermal Science, Vol. 8, No. 2, pp. 73-78, 1999
The viscosity in the gas phase and thermal conductivity in the liquid phase are estimated using a corresponding states approach.
Surface tension data are provided using the information in:
Mulero, A., Cachadina, I, and Parra, M.
"Recommended Correlations for the Surface Tension of Common Fluids"
