Potassium

Potassium provides property data for potassium in the liquid, saturated and superheat states based on the POPROP procedure listed in:

Sodium-NaK Engineering Handbook, Vol. 1, Sodium Chemistry and Physical Properties, Foust, O.J., ed., Gordon and Breach, Science Publishers, Inc., New York, (1972).

Thermodynamic property data are available for temperatures between triple point 336.35 K and 1775 K.  Subcooled liquid properties are approximated with the properties of saturated liquid.

Viscosity, thermal conductivity and surface tension are provided over the range of applicability of the correlations from:

Yaws, Carl L., ed. Chemical Properties Handbook. New York: McGraw-Hill, 1999.
