R477A 

 

R477A is a zeotropic mixture consisting of 84 weight% propylene and 16% isobutane.   It is an A3 refrigerant (flammable).    It can be considered as a replacement for R-404A and R-407C.   It has a molar mass of 44.02 kg/kmol with a GWP of 1320.

 

Property data for R477A are provided using a Helmholtz mixture model fitted by F-Chart Software using thermodynamic property data generated by REFPROP.  The model is applicable for temperatures between 180 K and 570  K with pressures up to 20 MPa or reduced densities up to 3.0.  The reference state is saturated liquid at 0 C for which specific enthalpy and entropy are 200 kJ/kg and 1.0 kJ/kg-K, respectively.
