$Real

The $Real directive indicates to EES that the variables that follow are to be considered to be real i.e., their imaginary component is zero.  This directive is only useful when operating in the complex mode with a Parametric table.  In this case, EES will not require both the real and imaginary components of the variable to be set in the table.  The $Real command should be placed at the top of the Equations window directly following the $Complex ON directive.  The variables can be separated by a space or a list separator.

Example:  $REAL  X Y Z
