Close/Delete Macro

Close/Delete command will provide a flyout menu showing all of the macro tab names currently residing in the Macro Window. Select the macro file that you wish to close or delete from the flyout menu.

Note that the action (Close or Delete) taken by this command depends on whether the macro is to be saved with the EES file or saved in an external .emf file. If the file is to be saved with the EES file, this command will delete the macro and remove the tab from the Macro Window. The macro commands are not recoverable. The confirmation dialog below will be provided.

If the macro is to be saved in an external .emf file, EES will check to see if there have been any changes to file. If so, the following confirmation will appear.

Selecting Yes will first save the macro with the file name specified in the confirmation and then close the macro file and remove the tab from the Macro Window. Selecting No will close the macro file and remove the tab. The macro .emf file will remain as is was last saved. Click the cancel button to back out of this operation. Use the Save Macro file command if you want to save the macro file with a different file name.
